Cryptocurrency exchange Coins.ph is holding a series of in-person events across Metro Manila and nearby provinces from August 2 to 16, 2025. Coins.ph is holding these activations in malls and public venues to drive crypto adoption and make crypto more accessible for new users through hands-on support.
At the events, staff will assist attendees with creating a Coins.ph account, buying and selling cryptocurrencies, and cashing out funds to local banks or e-wallets.
Participants who sign up and verify their accounts on-site will receive exclusive rewards. The first set of events will take place at Farmers Plaza, The Marketplace Shopping Mall in Mandaluyong, and Ayala Malls Feliz on August 2.

Wei Zhou, CEO of Coins.ph, stated the events are part of a broader educational mission. “We’re making crypto more accessible by showing up where people are, not just online, but in real-life communities across the country,” Zhou said. “These on-ground activations are part of our bigger mission to educate and onboard more Filipinos into the world of digital assets in a way that’s safe, simple, and useful in everyday life”.
The initiative comes at a time of growing interest in cryptocurrency in the Philippines, which a 2024 Chainalysis report ranked among the global leaders in crypto adoption.
Coins.ph reports having over 18 million users, and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) fully regulates the company, which holds both Virtual Currency and Electronic Money Issuer licences.
