RedStone, a blockchain oracle provider, has introduced Atom, a real-time oracle designed to revolutionize liquidation mechanics and automate miner-extractable value (MEV) capture in decentralized finance (DeFi) lending protocols. By leveraging FastLane Labs’ Atlas execution abstraction protocol, Atom enables instantaneous price updates and on-chain liquidations, addressing inefficiencies in traditional “push” oracle systems that rely on periodic or threshold-based updates [3]. This innovation allows liquidators to trigger price checks at every opportunity, mitigating delays and losses during volatile market conditions [3].

The product introduces a new DeFi primitive by integrating MEV capture directly into the oracle layer, routing value to protocols rather than third parties.
