VK in Russia will close its NFT platform on April 15

ChainCatcher news, according to Cryptonews, Russian social media giant VK announced that it will shut down its NFT marketplace “VK NFT Hub” on April 15 due to ongoing financial losses. VK’s net loss for 2024 reached 94.9 billion rubles (approximately 1.1 billion dollars), nearly three times that of 2023. The company advises users to migrate their NFTs to external wallets before the shutdown, or they will lose access.
