Uniswap Says SEC Has Ended Its Investigation Into the DeFi Crypto Exchange

Uniswap Labs announced on social media Tuesday that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has dropped its investigation into the company, which operates the world’s largest decentralized cryptocurrency exchange.

In April, the SEC issued a Wells notice to Uniswap, notifying the company that the agency intended to recommend legal action against it in connection with allegations that it operated as an unregistered broker, exchange and clearing agency and issued unregistered securities.
