Gaming DCI Developer Aethir Testnet Goes Live on Arbitrum

Aethir, a startup dedicated to developing decentralised cloud infrastructure (DCI) for games and AI, has announced that its testnet has gone live on Arbitrum. According to the company, the Ether testnet launch established the foundation for leveraged tokenomics. This will power industry innovation and enable permissionless connection with Ether’s game portals on cloud.

Aethir is confident that its testnet, which leverages Arbitrum’s scalability and reliability, will help deliver more efficient cloud computing. The company is on a mission to help the gaming community experience greater satisfaction supported by fast, secure and affordable transactions as well as AI.

With the launch of the testnet, Aethir has improved its DCI and introduced permissionless communication with its cloud-hosted gaming sites. In addition, the launch paves the way for introducing tokenomics and incentives that promote innovation in the sector.

Significance of the Aethir testnet launch

The testnet will enable developers to cloud-based gaming platforms and enhance the ease with which they onboard games onto the platforms. Simultaneously, projects focusing on AI can leverage locally scalable computing to improve the human-AI interface layer. In addition, GPU infrastructure providers are incentivised to offer cloud services and resources to the Ether community.

Furthermore, the testnet comes with an application programming interface (API) that will enable developers to publish games and develop their own gaming portals. It also includes a blockchain browser that allows developers to easily access on-chain data.

One of Aethir’s most successful products is Aethir Atmosphere, which is a GPU-as-a-Service ecosystem for infrastructure providers that democratises access to Web3 cloud for businesses. Also, Aethir recently joined NVIDIA’s Inception program, which is a significant step in its mission to revolutionise gaming and AI.

While the launch of Ether’s testnet is significant, the protocol will continue to improve with the help of frequent updates. Specifically, it will focus on improving the UI, advancing real-time cloud rendering, and developer support.
