Crypto prices today: Bitcoin declines 0.01%, other top altcoins witness surge
On Wednesday, most of the cryptocurrencies displayed mixed momentum. Bitcoin, the world’s first and largest crypto, stood at $25,992.28, marking a decrease of 0.01 percent over the last 24 hours. At the same time, Ethereum gained 0.12 percent to stand at $1,745.77.
At this time, the global crypto market cap stood at $1.06 trillion, marking an increase of 0.20 percent over the last day, along with a surge recorded in total crypto market volume by 9.04 percent to $31.71 billion.
Other popular cryptos also witnessed progress in their prices, with some still struggling to garner profits. Cardano was up by 0.19 percent, Solana advanced by 0.28 percent, Polkadot recorded gains by 1.31 percent, and Tron up by 0.59 percent.
At the time of writing (0940 IST) the value of Avalanche also noticed gains of 2.51, followed by a rise in Cosmos and Polygon of 2.10 percent and 1.07 percent, respectively. On the other hand, XRP, Litecoin, and Monero slipped by 1.96 percent, 0.31 percent, and 2.38 percent, respectively.
Top gainers and losers
On 14 June, Injective, Fantom, BNB, and Internet Computer were among the top gainers. On the other hand, Woo Network, XDC, Cronos and Flow were among the top losers.
Meme coins traded in the green
Top meme coins traded in the green. Elon Musk-backed Dogecoin is trading at $0.06198, with an increase of 0.39 percent, followed by gains marked in the value of Shiba Inu by 1.91 percent to $0.000006812. The positive impact in the prices could further be witnessed in other meme coins like, Pepe, Floki and Bone ShibaSwap by 1.84 percent, 2.83 percent, 0.87 percent, respectively.

Metaverse coins notice fluctuations
A majority of the metaverse tokens remained in the mixed state. Internet Computer, Stacks and The Sandbox notice improvement in their prices by 5.34 percent, 0.83 percent and 0.18 percent, respectively. On the contrary, ApeCoin, Render Token, and Theta Network fell over the last 24 hours.
