Showcasing 12 Distinctive Global Digital Artists In Louvre Palace

Wednes­day the 14th and Thurs­day the 15th of June 2023, “Proof of Talk” will take over the ground floor of the the Musée des Art Déco­rat­ifs in Paris, with a two-days pro­gramme ded­i­cat­ed to fea­tur­ing bril­liant voic­es in the Web3 ecosys­tem and pro­mot­ing sig­nif­i­cant exchange amongst them and the audience. 

The pro­gramme includes an exhi­bi­tion, At first glance – À pre­mière vue, fea­tur­ing the work of twelve of the most accom­plished artists work­ing with the dig­i­tal medium.

The Web3 exclu­sive Sum­mit will gath­er over 85 indus­try lead­ers to find con­crete ways to restore trust in the Web3 indus­try in col­lab­o­ra­tion with thought lead­ers, CEOs, founders, influ­encers, legal experts, and reg­u­la­to­ry author­i­ties. In coun­ter­tenden­cy with the usu­al Web3 sum­mits, which are often so crowd­ed that ener­gies and resources dis­perse, “Proof of Talk” is lim­it­ed to less than 1000 participants. 

Along with fos­ter­ing qual­i­ty con­ver­sa­tions and net­work­ing amongst atten­dees, the event also aims at spark­ing inter­est towards the new trends in dig­i­tal art, which are here­by not only show­cased but also pre­sent­ed with­in a cura­to­r­i­al frame.

Curat­ed by Luisa Ausen­da, founder of Stu­dio Leg­gero, At first glance – À pre­mière vue is an exhi­bi­tion which stands out as an encom­pass­ing and thought-pro­vok­ing dig­i­tal art expe­ri­ence that demands a sound view­er engagement. 

This show encour­ages the par­tic­i­pants of “Proof of Talk” to deep­en their view­er expe­ri­ence by going beyond what they see at first glance to intake the works’ full val­ue and scope. Each art­work exhib­it­ed in this stun­ning venue in the heart of Paris is either deeply con­cep­tu­al, tack­ling top­ics such as gen­der, equal­i­ty, and spec­u­la­tion, or remark­ably inno­v­a­tive tech-wise.

The twelve artists fea­tured in this show (Addie Wagenknecht, Andrea Bonace­to, Andrés Reisinger, Auriea Har­vey, Benoit Chal­land, Her­mine Bour­din, Rafaël Rozen­daal, Sarah Mey­ohas, Sky­golpe, Sofia Cre­spo, Trevor Jones & Won­derkatzi) make pro­found state­ments through their work and use the blockchain and the new tech­nolo­gies in such an inven­tive way that they are amongst the first ones in their medi­um to do so.

Dig­i­tal art encom­pass­es a wide range of medi­ums and for­mats, includ­ing vir­tu­al and aug­ment­ed real­i­ty, Arti­fi­cial Intel­li­gence, gen­er­a­tive art, pro­gram­ma­ble art, recom­bi­nant art, and more. Most of the lat­ter are show­cased in At first glance – À pre­mière vue, thus chal­leng­ing the atten­tion span of the view­er, who is stim­u­lat­ed to under­stand the process­es that con­cur in the cre­ation of the artworks. 

Fol­low­ing the inspi­ra­tion from which “Proof of Talk” sparked, to cre­ate an event in which the con­ver­sa­tions and exchanges hap­pen­ing with­in and beyond the pro­gramme would be mean­ing­ful and capa­ble of fruit­ful con­se­quences, At first glance – À pre­mière vue also seeks to acti­vate sig­nif­i­cant dia­logues and reflec­tions.
