Bitcoin Price Dips to Two-Month Low
The price of bitcoin continued to fall Friday as the largest cryptocurrency by market value struggles with an extended selloff this week.
Bitcoin traded as low as $26,151 early Friday morning, its lowest level in two months, according to CoinDesk data. The digital token has traded near $27,000 in recent days.
Bitcoin has historically traded in lockstep with high-growth tech stocks, but it has trailed the Nasdaq over the past month. The digital currency is still up more than 60% this year.
