Mandala, the cross-platform game and interoperable metaverse, will unveil its cross-chain metaverse on Polkadot, the full-stack multi-chain ecosystem and community powering the campaign to build a better web.

On April 28, Mandala will release the Cryptonauts NFT collection on the Astar Network as a way to announce its entry into the Polkadot ecosystem. The collection was created by concept artist and illustrator Bruce Zick (Pixar, Disney, Marvel, and Dark Horse).

Through its new partnership, Mandala has access to multiple parachains, independent blockchains built on Polkadot’s Relay Chain. Due to Polkadot’s unrivaled interoperability, these protocols enable high-level shared security and scalability, as well as the ability to work with other projects.

Jon Shanker, CEO at Mandala, stated;

Polkadot has real future-proof NFT applications, such as nesting, staking and the ability to send NFTs over bridges – plus many other innovative ways to use NFT assets. The overall cooperative and collaborative flow opens up our imagination for gaming and the mass adoption of blockchain capabilities.

The Mandala Metaverse

The cross-chain Mandala Metaverse combines an AAA MMO RPG powered by Unreal Engine with a location-based AR mobile game. Also, The Blair Witch Project’s director, producer, writer, and storyteller, Kevin J. Foxe, is associated with the project to mix graphic novels, video games, and television.

The Metaverse creates the “first Enlightenment Simulator” in the world. That powered by decentralized AGI from SingularityNet and interoperable with Sophiaverse, SingularityNet’s metaverse.

However, Mandala required a lot of the NFT features, including nesting, staking, and the ability to send NFTs over bridges. Due to the lack of these features on other chains, Mandala went with Polkadot.
