Vortex Arena: The first Cross-Game-NFT with blockchain technology

Video games have traditionally functioned as an escape from the stresses of everyday life. Today video games have evolved into a place where gamers can earn real money for their efforts.

With the popularity of NFTs and cryptocurrency, “play-to-earn” is gaining traction, and “pay-to-play” is slowly fading away.

NFTs are one-of-a-kind digital collectibles on the blockchain that can be used as characters, consumables, and other tradeable commodities in games. Users can earn tokens using play-to-earn models and sell their in-game NFTs to other collectors and gamers to mint more money.

Numerous play-to-earn games have popped up in recent years, and finding one that offers something unique has always been a dilemma for most gamers. Vortex Games, an E-Sports gaming company, is rising to the occasion to build a game that employs Cross-Game-NFT to offer a unique gaming experience to gamers. This has piqued the interest of gamers from across the world.

What is Vortex Arena?

Vortex is the first crypto project to innovate and combine Cross-Game-NFT with blockchain to employ NFTs within an ecosystem with multiple games but in the same universe. Vortex Arena is the first game of the company Vortex Games.

Vortex Arena uses a technology in which all players exist in the same universe, and characters and things conquered in one game can be used in a wide range of other games.

The game has a distinct design with its NFTs, as well as engaging gameplay with a wide range of scenarios and game settings. Gamers will be able to participate in rapid fights and complete daily objectives to earn exclusive NFTs from the Gold series.

Vortex Arena incorporates real combat gaming experience with blockchain technology. With scenarios full of obstacles and challenges, players can have fun with their allies and enemies, while earning NFTs and selling them in the marketplace to earn more money.

The game will be available for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS, starting with the beta version for Windows.

Complete Visual Experience

The game’s layouts range from Aztec ruins to futuristic and post-apocalyptic settings. Characters have styles and elements from many eras and dimensions.

The Vortex Games website has already announced several NFTs, ranging from a humanoid owl, an Aztec Orc, to a Medieval Warrior, but the game will start with 15 characters. There is nothing to limit the players as space-time and different dimensions are found in the same game.

The game offers an immersive storyline where a powerful wizard named Uphy tries to locate a warrior worthy of his riches. He casts a spell that creates different runes and dispatches them to several planes and periods. When these runes are discovered, a direct passage to the World of Uphy is opened, and all dimensions and times have combined into the same world.

Warriors who discover the runes are sent to this realm via the Vortex Portal, where they must fight for a share of the treasure.

Types of Gameplays

The Vortex Arena gameplay is created to combine a gamer’s personal skills and teamwork that can be used to challenge others searching for available players. The game has four unique gameplay modes, which are:

Battle Royale: Ten players will be randomly assigned to different positions on the same map, with the objective of becoming the final survivor. During the game, resources are randomly thrown on the map. Players must gather these resources as they are critical for survival.

Death-Match: The game lasts ten minutes, and the main aim is to kill as many enemies as possible during that period. When a hero dies, he returns to his base and is resurrected after 15 seconds.

The team with the most kills at the end of the time period wins. At the end of the game, a list of the players’ statistics will emerge, including the number of kills, damage delivered, and damage sustained.

Tower Defense: Gamers must form a team to defend their tower while attempting to demolish the opponent’s tower. They can create plans, lay traps, or use stealth to try and approach the enemy tower while remaining undetected.

Rune Grab: In this game mode, up to ten players will compete in two teams, trying to maintain their runes on their power while other players try to take it from them. The player who has the rune gains speed, health, and defense. After either of the teams has grabbed 10 runes, a countdown begins, and the team must keep them to win.

Pre-Sale

For players wanting to take advantage of the opportunity to get in on the project early, pre-sale is now available where they can buy coins through the platform’s exclusive Ghate West NFT!

14000 NFTs will be available for purchase at a cost of $200 apiece.

  •  Launch Price: $0.01
  •  Whitelist: 1000 NFTs will be sold at the price of $100 each

These NFTs will be used in-game and will grant access to an airdrop bonus of 1.333,333336 coins for the next six months.

Tokenomics

The game’s token is called VORTEX.

  • CEX: 0.5% of tokens will be added one time each semester for 15 years.
  • DEVS: Tokens will be unlocked 0.125% in each trimester for 10 years.
  • Staking: Part of all marketplace transactions will be sent to a staking wallet.
  • Pre-Sale:12% will be distributed monthly using fractions of the airdrop of 16.6666667% for 6 months.

The Final Word

Vortex Arena employs the Play-to-Earn-NFT system as an alternative to the conventional “Play-to-Earn” method, which is inflationary and unsustainable. This offers its gamers a healthy earnings system where 80% of the NFTs are acquired and only 20% are sold by the company. The players are also able to sell their NFTs inside the marketplace.

During the first half of April, the platform will have a daily raffle for those who actively participate by sharing their content daily. More information is available in their Telegram group!

The gaming platform recently launched a Chrome Gold NFT series, where gamers will be able to participate in rapid fights and complete daily objectives to obtain rare Gold NFTs from the Chrome Gold NFT series.
