Cryptocurrency price in India 27 February 2023: Bitcoin at $23,499, Ethereum increases 2.29%, market remains profitable
On Monday, the value of top cryptocurrencies traded in the green. The global crypto market cap increased by 1.28 percent to $1.07 trillion.

Crypto prices on 27 February
By Nidhi Bhardwaj: After a dull weekend, the prices of top cryptocurrencies on Monday witnessed gains. Bitcoin increased by 1.32 percent to trade at $23,499 in the last 24 hours. The price of Ethereum as of (1000 IST) rose by 2.29 percent to stand at $1637.33. On the growth, Edul Patel, Co-founder and CEO of Mudrex said, “Ethereum’s trading price has been hovering around US$1,600. Overall, the market displayed indications of a slight recovery over the weekend, with many cryptocurrencies seeing a decent rise in value.”
As the market grew, the price of other top tokens like Solana and Litecoin improved by 1.97 percent to $22.96, and 1.10 percent to $94.65, respectively. This growth is further noticed in Polkadot by 0.82 percent to $6.63 and in Toncoin by 1.60 percent to $2.43. The price of Avalache also registered gains of 1.34 percent. However, other tokens like Cosmos and XRP fell by 0.96 percent and 0.36 percent, respectively.
On 27 February, the global crypto market cap increased by 1.28 percent to $1.07 trillion in the past 24 hours. Contrastingly, the total crypto market volume stood at $35.03 billion, having registered a decrease of 4 percent.
Gainers and decliners of the day
According to CoinMarketCap, the top gainers were Neo, Stacks, Ankr and Maker. Contrarily, the top losers were, BinaryX, 1inch Network, and Hedera.
Meme coins notice decrease
On Monday, the value of meme coins grew. Shiba Inu was up by 2.36 percent to $0.000013. The value of Dogecoin surged 0.67 percent to $0.081771. This continued in Dogelon Mars by a 0.67 percent increase and in Floki by a 4.29 percent rise.
Metaverse tokens in the green
A majority of the top metaverse tokens remained in the green zone. The price of The Sandbox recorded gains of 0.09 percent, which continued in Axie Infinity by a 0.36 percent spike and Decentraland by a 0.17 percent surge from yesterday.
