Cryptocurrency price in India 24 February 2023: Bitcoin, Ethereum and other top tokens fall
On Friday, the value of top tokens displayed loss, with the overall global market cap and volume sinking by 1.42 percent to $1.10 trillion and 8.85 percent to $56.29 billion, respectively.
Crypto prices on 24 February 2023
Top cryptocurrencies on Friday traded in the red. Bitcoin fell by 2 percent to trade at $23,984 in the last 24 hours. At the time of writing this article (0930 IST), the value of Ethereum also sank by 1.13 percent to currently trade at $1,651.20.
As the market witnessed a decline, the price of other top tokens like Solana and XRP decreased by 2 percent to $23.84 and 1.35 percent to $0.3901, respectively. This decrease continued in Litecoin with a 1.26 percent fall and in Polkadot with a 3.37 percent slip. Like yesterday, Toncoin continues to grow by 0.26 percent, followed by a rise in Cosmos of 0.42 percent in the last 24 hours. However, the value of Avalanche went down by 4.33 percent.
On 24 February, the global crypto market cap slipped by 1.42 percent to $1.10 trillion in the past 24 hours. Similarly, the total crypto market volume stood at $56.29 billion, having registered a loss of 8.85 percent over the last day.
Gainers and decliners of the day
According to CoinMarketCap, the top gainers were ,Optimism, Stacks, Bone ShibaSwap and Gate Token. Contrarily, the top losers were, Neo, Tezos, Ankr and Fantom.
Meme coins notice decrease
On Friday, the value of meme coins shrunk. Shiba Inu sank by 2.41 percent to $0.000013. The fall in prices further impacted the value of Dogecoin by a 1.71 percent slip to $0.084456. Dogelon Mars also dipped 0.41 percent to $4.49e-7. Moreover, the top gainer of yesterday, Baby Floki, plunged by 5 percent to trade at $1.45e-9.
Metaverse tokens in the red
A majority of the top metaverse tokens remained in the red zone. The price of The Sandbox recorded a loss of 1.96 percent, which continued in Axie Infinity by a 0.89 percent slip and Decentraland by a 2.28 percent decrease from yesterday.
