#MrMarket: Daffodils poking free in Occitane in the miracle mild European Winter.

John Batchelor and I discuss the economy, inflation, and energy, as well as the mild winter weather.

But first, John delivers news that Goldman Sachs is catching up with something I’ve been writing for a while — Neither a U.S. or European recession seem imminent or unavoidable.

Then there’s a deep dive on the scandals of 2002, warranted at least five full pages in the Wall Street Journal at the time. I condensed that into a 200 word story and a note that 2003 was awesome for stock investors.

Plus I describe the snow situation in the Pyrenees (quite good,) a potential mid-west dust bowl this year (frigtening), the early bloom of daffodils in the south of France, and much, much more.
