Perth Heat CEO stands behind decision to pay players in Bitcoin
Last year Perth Heat made history by giving players the option of being paid in Bitcoin.
During this time, Bitcoin had a value of around $80,000 now it is worth $25,000, which poses the question of whether investing in Bitcoin is still worth it.
Perth Heat CEO Steve Nelkovski told 6PR Breakfast hosts Steve Mills and Karl Langdon Bitcoin is a great investment.

“Now we’re creating some wonderful opportunities for Australian sports teams,” said Mr Nelkovski.
“We’re pioneering change which maybe won’t be understood for the next five or ten years,” he continued.
