Caizcoin Has Saved Frankfurt’s Euro Monument
Caizcoin is currently restoring the monument, which was in danger of collapsing because of a lack of financing and vandalism.
Ottmar Hörl created two replicas of the Euro sculpture at the end of the 1990s; one was installed at Frankfurt Airport, and the other was given to the Frankfurter Kultur Komitee, which had it placed on the city’s Willy-Brandt-Platz next to the Eurotower, which served as the European Central Bank’s headquarters (ECB).
When the ECB relocated to its new location in Frankfurt’s Ostend, there were proposals from a number of sources to take the object out of the city center plaza and either transport it to the Ostend or put it in a museum.
Following that, the Frankfurter Kultur Komitee organization had requests to exhibit it in Paris, among other notable locations.
The sculpture was relocated from its original location in Ostend. However, since it was built, it has deteriorated because of a lack of funding and vandalism.
The mission of Caizcoin, according to CEO Jörg Hansen, is to “make this landmark a model of sustainability at its finest.” With a fresh understanding of the monument’s function, renovations will be made.
