ETH Outpaces BTC in Gains as Major Altcoins Rebound in Profits

The crypto market has returned to recovery after most cryptocurrencies opened with a loss on September 1. Bitcoin on Friday, September 2, opened with a small loss of 0.40 percent. As per Indian CoinSwitch Kuber exchange, the cryptocurrency managed to maintain its price point of $19,976 (roughly Rs. 16 lakh). Small losses also hit BTC in international trading. According to Binance and CoinMarketCap, for example, BTC is trading at $20,002 (about 16 lakh rands) after losing about 0.40 percent.

Ether overtook Bitcoin to open with gains today. With a price increase of 1.29 percent, ETH is currently trading at $1,571 (roughly Rs. 1,25,100), according to crypto price tracker Gadgets 360.

It is worth noting that the energy-efficient development of the Ethereum blockchain, called Merge, is also approaching its release in mid-September. This has a big impact on why ETH did not follow its usual temptation behind BTC and gain individual gains.

Tether, Binance USD, Ripple, Cardano, Solana, Polkadot, and Polygon saw gains.

Even Dogecoin and Shiba Inu gained again alongside Uniswap and Litecoin.

Meanwhile, altcoins like Tron, SnowNeAR Protocol, and Bitcoin Cash saw losses alongside BTC.

The overall crypto market average is up 1.16 percent in the last 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap,

The total value of the crypto market stands at $988.94 billion (approximately Rs. 78,77,100 crore).
