Mega Oasis, Neo Partner To Showcase Zhenchen Liu’s NFTs

Mega Oasis, the NFT marketplace in the Neo ecosystem, has partnered with Neo Blockchain to bring a premium art collection by a renowned artist. PANACEA, a collection by Zhenchen Liu, will be sponsored by the two platforms. To be staged across China’s biggest cities, the event will run from July 9th to August 28th and take place in locations including Shenyang, Shanghai, and Beijing.

MetaPanacea, Liu’s first and only NFT collection, was inspired by the PANACEA collection. The collection takes its inspirations from the therapeutic value of various plants, herbs, and minerals. MetaPanacea is a limited-edition collection available only from Mega Oasis. Also, the NFT collection is the first drop to be released by Mega Oasis.

Video, installation and painting are some of the techniques Zhenchen Liu uses to address globalization and environmental concerns. A total of 30 pieces are on display, including paintings, light boxes made from various materials, and movies. Xiyun Du, curator and critic, is collaborating with Mega Oasis and the 1905 Art Space gallery on this exhibition.

Previously, Liu has worked with Chanel and other high-end fashion brands. The Grand Palais and the Palais de Tokyo have hosted exhibitions of his work. The European Photography Museum and France’s Centre Pompidou both have permanent collections of these images. MetaPanacea contains 403 newly-created NFTs, which will be dispersed over a number of different releases.

The first Panacea collection was used as the basis for the creation of MetaPanacea, which was then digitized using various computer algorithms. A mixed-material light box exhibits this digitized collection to reframe the actual world in relation to art’s artificial one. Neo has shown how blockchain technology can be used to benefit other industries through Mega Oasis. The Zhenchen Liu NFT drop is in line with Mega Oasis’ goal of being the go-to platform for the highest quality NFTs.
