Disney NFT collections for Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland

Disney Parks has announced Disney Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collections for Disneyland, and Hong Kong Disneyland will drop on July 17 and 18, 2022.

Disney NFT Collections – Disneyland Resort Posters Collection (1955–59 Series)

Inspired by the original artwork used to create Disneyland posters for Red Wagon Inn, Jungle Cruise, Rocket to the Moon, Storybook Land Canal Boats, and Rainbow Caverns Mine Train during the first decade of the Anaheim park, the 1955–59 Series consists of five digital prints that will drop July 17, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. PT, only on the VeVe app for iOS and Android.

Red Wagon Inn – Located on Main Street U.S.A (where The Plaza Inn is today), the Red Wagon Inn was the most elegant restaurant at Disneyland in the 1950s, with the most intriguing section of the restaurant being the “Disney Room,” an exclusive space in the back with a secret entrance and private bar where Walt could entertain special guests before there was Club 33.

Rocket to the Moon – When it opened in 1955, Rocket to the Moon offered a realistic look at earth from the moon years before the first satellite images and manned space flights. The iconic rocket ship disappeared after updates in 1967 (Flight to the Moon) and 1975 (Mission to Mars) but returned in 1998 when the entire facility was transformed into Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port (now Alien Pizza Planet) – and the rocket ship is still there.
