Bitcoin’s price on Tuesday crashed below $20,000 level. The world’s most popular cryptocurrency has been hovering around $19,000 to $21,000 over the past four weeks, less than a third of its $69,000 peak in 2021. Even after bitcoin’s worst month in 11 years in June, the decline in value continues.

Bitcoin’s price was down by 2.48 per cent to $19,979.51. Ethereum’s price was down by 5.26 per cent to $1,088. XRP was down by 2.93 per cent, Solana fell 4.89 per cent, Cardano was down by 4.88 per cent, and Stellar fell by 3.18 per cent.

“Bitcoin slipped below the $20,000 level as prices continued to drop for another consecutive day. If the price drops below the current level, we might see Bitcoin falling to $18,000 as bearish sentiment persists in the market,” Edul Patel, Co-Founder & CEO, Mudrex said.

“While on the other side, the bullish sentiment was nowhere seen for Ethereum as it dropped below the $1,100 level reversing its weekly gains. If Ethereum fails to sustain above the $1,140 level, we might see it plunge to even to the $900 as the buying strength has declined over the past few days,” Patel said.

Popular altcoin Dogecoin fell 5.62 per cent, polkadot was down by 4.84 per cent, and Shiba Inu fell by 6.26 per cent.
