A non-fungible token (NFT) company in Shenzhen, South China’s Guangdong Province, recently introduced an NFT limited edition of a blue-and-white porcelain dish plate from the Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368), a way to attract the attention in traditional Chinese food of young art collectors.
Dunyuhuang, a company, specialized in applications in blockchain, released this specially-made porcelain badge for its customers on Friday.
The badge, named “New cooking power,” integrates traditional Chinese cuisine culture with blue and white porcelain patterns
This porcelain, especially the blue and white kind, made with exclusively selected porcelain clay applying breakthroughs in technology for portioning, drying and firing, became a part of exquisite collections in imperial palaces and among the noble class in Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties for its graceful, delicate and gorgeous patterns.
NFT collections with elements such as fish, shrimps and crabs, based on ancient Chinese culture, are more suitable for young collectors.
The porcelain collection was also showcased on Saturday at an event of cuisine in Shenzhen, combining traditional food and digital technology to promote Chinese cuisine.
Statistics show that the market of NFT collections is expanding in relevant platforms in China.
