In the current market cycle, the most promising first-tier blockchains, in addition to bitcoin, are Ethereum, Cardano, Avalanche and Polkadot. This was stated by cryptanalyst Benjamin Cowen.

During the podcast InvestAnswers he singled out the second largest cryptocurrency as the most promising altcoin for investment:

“Ethereum is definitely the best so far. I don’t think anyone has approached him now. I value decentralization as a core quality. You know, the whole game is between decentralization, scalability and security. ”

He stressed that it is easy to name a leader. Cowen included Cardano, Avalanche and Polkadot in his top 4 altcoins.

The analyst noted that it is difficult to ignore projects such as Terra, which “literally buys bitcoins billions of dollars, ”as well as Solana. However, Cowen added that he is not ready to invest in them now.

“Some projects, like Terra and Solana, are not uninteresting. I was just late with them. It’s easier to focus on those you started investing in earlier, ”he explained.

Cowen admitted that in the next cycle he will invest in the named couple.

His interlocutor, host of the YouTube channel Digital Asset News, also gave Ethereum an unconditional leadership among promising altcoins. In the top three, he added competitors from the leading DeFi network – Avalanche and Solana.

Recall, the former CEO and co-founder of BitMEX Arthur Hayes explained why Ethereum will be a more profitable investment compared to other first-tier blockchains, and projected cryptocurrency prices to rise to $ 10,000 by the end of the year.
