Chicken Dinner! PUBG Creators KRAFTON Partners with Solana Labs
- PUBG Creators KRAFTON Inc., has announced a partnership with Solana Labs.

- Since February, KRAFTON has been making multiple partnerships with Web 3.0 and NFT related companies.
The creators of the internationally acclaimed PUBG: Battlegrounds – KRAFTON, Inc. – announced a partnership with Solana Labs on March 23. KRAFTON, Inc., signed a business agreement with Solana Labs to aid the design and marketing of blockchain-based games and services.
Both companies will cooperate in the marketing and designing of blockchain games and other blockchain technologies. Furthermore, they will jointly cooperate on investment opportunities.
KRAFTON Inc.’s Lead of Web 3.0 Roundtable Hyungchul Park said KRAFTON will always look for ways to work closely with blockchain companies. “As one of the best global high-performance blockchain with strength in high speed and low fees, Solana represents the best of the Web 3.0 ecosystem and its technologies,” Park added. “Through this cooperation, KRAFTON will acquire the insight needed to accelerate its investment in and output of blockchain-based experiences.”

Similarly, Solana Labs’ Head of Games Business Development Johnny Lee shared his excitement about KRAFTON’s commitment. “KRAFTON is an established innovator in the games industry and we are excited to be part of their next level up. We are seeing gamers increasingly seek out on-chain games and gaming companies who respond quickly to this demand will set themselves up well for ongoing success.”
Through this agreement, Solana Labs and KRAFTON are set to build a long-term cooperative relationship. All for the purposes of the development and operation of blockchain and NFT-based games and services.
Meanwhile, KRAFTON has been making continuous steps towards new business opportunities in 2022. In February, the company announced its foray into the Web 3.0 and NFT business. Since then, KRAFTON has announced multiple investments and collaborations with companies like Seoul Auction Blue, Naver Z (Zepeto), and XX Blue.
