Coin Bureau bullish on Metaverse Altcoins (such as $SAND) despite falling crypto prices

The host of popular crypto market commentary show Coin Bureau says he is still optimistic about the prospects for gaming altcoins that can capitalize on the hype generated by non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Speaking in a new YouTube video, host ‘Guy’ told his followers that he’s been watching the GameFi marketplace with great interest. Guy argued that NFTs are revolutionizing the gaming industry by providing incentives to users who spend time in the virtual realm. Users can leverage in-game digital assets to engage in a new ownership model.

Guy said he’s optimistic about the prospects for gaming platforms to win, such as Axie Infinity ($AXS), The Sandbox ($SAND) and Decentraland ($MANA).

As reported by The Daily Hodl, Guy told his followers,

I think GameFi embodies one of the most exciting and advanced ecosystems in the blockchain space today, and I foresee an incredibly bright future for some play-to-win games, especially those with the perk from the first to arrive like Axie, the Sandbox . Decentraland and a plethora of others.

The Coin Bureau host predicted that GameFi could lead to greater mainstream adoption of crypto and digital assets. He noted that there are over 2.7 billion active gamers worldwide, all of whom have some familiarity with the digital item scarcity model in games. He said play-to-win models offered these players a new empowerment paradigm that additionally offered “financial benefits”.

He continued,
