Here’s How to Get Your Hands On Gucci x Superplastic’s Exclusive NFTs
The Italian fashion house and Superplastic, a globally led toy and digital collectible company, join forces on the growing world of NFTs, with the release of “SuperGucci”, launching February 1. SuperGucci consists of ten NFTs co-designed by Gucci and Superplastic.
Being released in three parts, all ten NFTs are ultra-limited, each accompanied by a handmade ceramic sculpture made in Italy.
The designs of each NFT are inspired by Gucci’s signature designs and patterns, reconstructed to the animated internet celebrities, Janky and Guggimon. Janky and Guggimon are virtual humans created by Superplastic, who exist in the digital world. Superplastic’s toy models of them sell out in minutes, with their NFTs growing more and more popular. The toy brand has collaborated with the likes of Guerrilaz to Paris Hilton, Gucci being its first union with a luxury fashion house.
Following Gucci’s debut NFT release, which was hosted by Christie’s and will also host their upcoming sale, portrays their commitment to digital content and the changing world of digital art. This collaboration further laments their presence in the Metaverse, and the digital world of NFTs.

Gucci’s digital realm extends to a virtual concept store, Gucci Vault, which was released last year. The store was conceptualized by creative director Alessandro Michele, who also handpicked archival Gucci pieces to be sold in the digital store, as the house’s sixth vintage drop.
SuperGucci will launch on February 1 via Superplastic.co and vault.gucci.com.
