El Salvador’s President: Bitcoin Price To Reach $ 100,000 In 2022
President of Salvador Nayib Bukele expressed confidence that in 2022 the price of the first cryptocurrency will rise to $ 100,000.

Bukele also suggested that:
- two more countries recognize bitcoin as legal tender;
- digital gold will be one of the key topics in the elections to the US House of Representatives;
- construction of Bitcoin City will begin;
- Subscriptions for Volcano bonds will exceed their market supply.
Among other things, the President of El Salvador has promised a “big surprise” at the Bitcoin 2022 conference. The event will take place from April 6-9 in Miami. In addition to Bukele, it will be attended by:
- head of MicroStrategy Michael Saylor;
- a modern representative of the Austrian school of economics Seyfedin Ammus;
- Blockstream CEO Adam Back;
- Lightning Labs founder Elizabeth Stark and other famous representatives of the crypto industry .
After the legalization of bitcoin in September, the government of El Salvador acquired 550 BTC through a specially created fund. It was followed by an additional purchase of 150 BTC on a drawdown of up to $ 45,000.
In October, the authorities increased their reserves in the first cryptocurrency by another 420 BTC, again using the local rate correction. In November, the state fund acquired 100 BTC.
El Salvador also began mining cryptocurrency using geothermal volcanic energy. The first accrued rewards Bukele published on October 1.
