MegaFans, a Southern California-based mobile gaming firm, announced the successful development of a play-to-earn tournament approach that utilities donated NFTs and cryptocurrency prizes to encourage gamers and collectors to join in the company’s charity fundraising event.

Launchpool, Listen Tokens, Stamina, and Megafans are among the NFT’s contributors and partners. Launchpool also donated bitcoin to the tournament’s top three winners in support of CodetoInspire.org, Afghanistan’s first coding school for women.

MegaFans (Mobile eSports Gaming Fanatics) is establishing the world’s first mobile eSports community via the use of blockchain, bitcoin, and non-fungible tokens in a play-to-earn metaverse ecosystem for gamers and collectors, where 2.8 billion daily active users fight for rewards.

MegaFans provide customized solutions for mobile game publishers and developers that enhance the player experience and boost revenue and retention. MegaFans just became the first mobile eSports platform to provide NFTs as prizes, and for the first time since launching its MPV earlier this year, their first profitable month exceeded their return on advertising spend (ROAS) in November.

The startup business instantly donated a portion of its income when they launched a new eSports competition that included NFTs and cryptocurrency awards in order to promote awareness and encourage Afghan women in gaming and decentralized finance technologies (aka Gamfi). The firm is specifically using the mobile eSports platform to assist women in Afghanistan in learning to code online “One of MegaFans’ guiding principles is to promote Gamfi’s women.

“Codetoinspire.org and its participants all incur significant risks. MegaFans, Launchpool, Listen Tokens, and Stamina have all agreed to support this worthwhile cause, and we believed that DCentral was the perfect location to launch it” MegaFans’ Founder and CEO, Jeff Donnelley, explains.

DCentral is a conference dedicated to the future of decentralized finance and networked financial technologies. Launchpool is a platform for tokenized crowdfunding. Listen Token holders have access to the world’s most renowned actors, singers, artists, and authors via special social impact NFTs.

Stamina is a Canadian photographer that specializes in nature photography, non-traditional portraiture, and bilingual hip hop music. Megafans provides a variety of free-to-play and pay-to-win opportunities, ranging from quick-play games to monthly tournaments with higher prize pools up to $10,000 (USD).

The pools expand in size as the community develops, and participants earn virtual tokens that may be traded for other cryptocurrencies, non-fungible tokens, gift cards, or cash. To minimize gas prices, the NFTs are distributed on OpenSea.io through the Polygon.technology chain.

MegaFans just completed a seed round of investment sponsored by Alphabit and launched a strategic-private round in search of partnerships to help them expand their platform and audience. MegaFans is a member of the Launchpool Labs incubator program, which provides strategic and technical assistance to help them build their gaming and collecting community. The Launchpool Labs incubator is a 90-day intense development program focusing on community growth and value creation for blockchain entrepreneurs.
