Polygon, Cosmos and Uniswap: Top Altcoins of the Day – Crypto News
Green curve on the crypto market. At least if you look at the courses no later than 24 hours. These altcoins are doing the best.
Not a single day goes by in the cryptocurrency market when out of thousands of cryptocurrencies, some have made huge profits for their investors, while others have crashed. In the top 50 of the biggest cryptocurrencies, the rise and fall are less dramatic, but bitcoin, ethereum and company are also volatile, sometimes falling 5% or rising 10%. Today, July 5, the signs are more on the development side. A large proportion of the most valuable altcoins are up by five or more percent, and the leading cryptocurrency, bitcoin, is also likely to rise by more than 4% in a 24-hour period. Meanwhile, Ethereum is up by 8.5 percent, BNB a whopping 6% and Solana around 7.
But some of the biggest altcoins are also making double-digit gains. These include Polygon, Cosmos and Uniswap.

Among the biggest gainers of the altcoin is Polygon (MATIC), which is trading up 12.6 percent at $0.509 in a 24-hour period. MATIC currently has a market cap of $4.085 billion, but it is still down more than 14.5 percent month-on-month.
Polygon is a layer 2 solution for Ethereum. The project helps build applications and dApps on the blockchain faster and cheaper. Ethereum is currently only capable of executing 30 transactions per second, often at high fees. Polygon increases the speed to 65,000 per second.
With the impending transition from Ethereum to Ethereum 2.0, the second largest cryptocurrency is looking to tackle this problem. In the spring, we took a closer look at whether it would pose a threat to Polygonum:

The Cosmos network seeks to ensure interoperability between blockchains with the platform’s own token, ATOM. This is clearly going down well, as the altcoin is up 9.52 percent in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $8.85.

Uniswap (UNI) Rate: Bronze for DAO Token

UNI, a token from decentralized exchange Uniswap, has claimed the bronze medal among top altcoins due to the surge in the past few hours. For example, the UNI is currently trading at $5.26, up 9.5 percent from the same period yesterday. However, it declined by minus 1.5 per cent on a weekly basis.
