In this recording of the third and final webinar in our popular NFT series, we look at some of the more technical aspects of launching an NFT collection.

The webinar will examine how sports rights-holders can identify the best blockchain, establish how their fans will buy and store their digital collectibles, as well as looking at aspects like utility, ease of transaction and security.

Jorge Urrutia del Pozo, vice president, football partnerships, Dapper Labs

Jorge Urrutia del Pozo is responsible for driving growth in Dapper Labs’ sports segment and has played a critical role in the firm’s digital collectibles partnership with LaLiga. Urrutia del Pozo has two decades of experience leading growth strategies in sports, media and technology. Prior to working with Dapper Labs, he served as the NBA’s head of fan audience strategy and engagement, building a growth marketing team that achieved record increases in marketable fanbase, fan engagement rates and direct-to-consumer subscriptions. He has also held a variety of growth and transformation roles at Digitas, The Huffington Post, AOL, and The Boston Consulting Group.

Flavio Restelli, consultant, Blockchain Partner by KPMG

Flavio Restelli is a consultant with Blockchain Partner by KPMG, the specialist blockchain advisory business of the big-four accounting firm. In this role, Restelli provides consultancy services around NFTs and metaverse projects across different sectors including sport, culture and fashion.​ Since joining KPMG, he has guided several corporate clients in understanding blockchain technologies, identifying relevant use cases and drafting roadmaps for their Web3 strategies. Previously, Restelli was in charge of crypto-related projects at Crédit Agricole Payment Services.​

Timothy Mangnall, chief executive, Capital Sports Media & Capital Block

Throughout a 20-year career in the media and advertising sector Tim Mangnall has worked at some of the world’s largest media agencies, including JCDecaux and Clear Channel, where he has delivered some of the world’s largest brand campaigns for companies like Adidas, Red Bull, Ford and Spotify.

Since launching Capital Sports Media in 2017, he has built relationships with leading sports rights-holders such as Uefa, Fifa, and Formula 1, working directly with their commercial teams to drive incremental revenue and new partnerships in the digital space.

Alongside this, he launched the media rights acquisition department at Capital Sports Media which manages rights across clubs such as Galatasaray, Beşiktaş, Göztepe and Sivasspor.

As a seasoned Crypto Investor, he launched Capital Block in 2019, the first ever dedicated sports and entertainment NFT agency, helping clubs around the world navigate the exciting yet unknown world of NFTs.

Capital Block launched the first ever historical NFT with Turkish super club Galatasaray, which famously sold out in 59 seconds. The specialist agency has gone on to partner with several other football clubs around the world and has expanded into the entertainment sector, in addition to representing leading crypto exchanges such as Bybit.
