Non-fungible tokens or NFTs have literally taken the world by storm. Be it artists, celebrities or even sportspersons, no one has been left untouched by the NFT craze. Unique digital assets in the form of images, audios, GIFs, 3D models, videos and much more are being launched, bought and sold on various NFT platforms.
For starters, NFTs are non-interchangeable tokens that act like digital certificates for a particular work. Each NFT is identified by a unique token ID, and contains distinguishable information that can be easily verified as they are tied to a blockchain. NFTs are fast becoming popular as a tool for artists and creators to secure their art and rare collectibles.

In this collection, the token itself doubles as your membership to a swamp club for apes. The celebrities who own BAYC NFT include Jimmy Fallon, DJ Khaled and YouTuber Logan Paul. It was created by Greg Solano and Wylie Aronow, and launched in April 2021 by Yuga Labs.
