Bitcoin miner Iren founders Will Roberts and Dan Roberts to appear before court
Former Macquarie executive Will Roberts is set to appear before the Federal Court on Wednesday after a company he co-founded with his brother Dan, the Nasdaq-listed bitcoin miner Iren (née Iris Energy), lost an application to set aside a summons.
This comes after an Iren subsidiary in Canadian province British Columbia defaulted on a loan due to NYDIG, a New York technology and financial services firm, and entered receivership via PwC.
