Upbit NFT, run by Dunamu, announced on the 10th that it will present the works of Lee Jung-seop, Kim Hwan-ki and Lee Woo-hwan, who represent Korea’s modern and contemporary art, as real-linked NFTs (non-fungible tokens).
Upbit NFT launched its service in 2021 as the country’s largest NFT platform. It has supported NFT transactions in various genres such as domestic and foreign art masters, K-pop, sports, and illustrations.
Among them, the real-linked NFT drop connects digital and real assets. NFT holders will have the right to acquire linked physical works.
The work to be presented this time is by Lee Jung-seop, Kim Hwan-ki, and Lee Woo-hwan, who played an important role in building the identity of Korean contemporary art. The three painters are representative masters included in the top 30 bidding prices for domestic art auctions in 2024 according to the Korea Art Poetry Appraisal Association.
