Mythical Games Moves From to Polkadot, Launches NFT Game

Mythical Games, a Web3 gaming studio, has announced plans to move the Mythical Chain to the Polkadot network. This means it is moving away from Ethereum and onto the multichain network, which is decentralised and compatible with multiple blockchains.

Moving to Polkadot will also include the introduction and launch of a Mythos “Superchain” for the benefit of the Mythos ecosystem, a DAO set up to lower barriers to entry for game developers. Mythos gaming partners will be able to create their own chains using the Mythical Chain after the switch to Polkadot, without compromising on interoperability or connectivity.

Advanced features, streaming technology, and knowledge of Web3 gaming are just some of the ways in which Mythical will contribute to the Polkadot ecosystem. Mythical is an industry leader in Web3 gaming and the metaverse, with over 3 million monthly digital asset transactions. In addition, it has over 200k active wallets and daily gaming transactions totaling over 1 million MYTH tokens.

Mythical Games introduces NFL Rivals

Meanwhile, the NFL and NFL Players Association have released NFL Rivals, their first blockchain-based game developed by Mythical Games, on the iOS and Android app stores. In NFL Rivals, players take on the role of general managers (GMs) for their respective teams and compete in fantasy games against other teams. Users can now purchase, collect, and exchange NFT digital objects on the blockchain, granting them entry to exclusive events and in-game incentives.

In addition to the game’s free-to-play feature, Mythical’s online marketplace will let players purchase, sell, and trade NFTs. In addition, all of the NFL teams and characters in Mythical Games have official licensing so fans may fill up their teams with their favourite athletes. Also, each playable character is rare and has unique abilities and weaknesses. Mythical Games believes that moving its Mythical Chain from Ethereum to a parachain on the Polkadot ecosystem, which is built around parachains, will enable Web3 capabilities and improve scalability.
